San Gabriel valley squadron
Mikey started pedaling at a very young age. The very first bike he rode was his dad's roadie which lasted for a very short time due to its size. He eventually acquired a BMX and rode it with energy because of the flatland freestyle and quarter pipe flying tricks. Riding BMX was his passion for a while until he reached college and began exploring San Gabriel mountains thru mountain biking. While in college, he decided to enlist in the military where many of his comrades convinced him to participate in triathlons and long distance cycling for charitable causes, recruitment and physical conditioning!
Mikey's biking diary if you may wanna call it is centered around recreation, meeting people, having fun and was never interested in racing competitively! His leisure travels, military deployments in many warn torn countries and the fight against high rate of suicides among our service members and first responders profoundly affected his life. Now he pedals as much as he can to make this world a better place for everyone regardless of race, religion, abilities and political views!
